- Layer rice in the crock pot. Season pork and place on top.
- Mix hoisin, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and water. Pour over pork.
- Cook on low 6 hours or high 4 hours.
- Optional: Thicken sauce with cornstarch.

- Substitutions: Use chicken broth instead of water for richer rice.
