Method
- Toast the black sesame seeds in a dry pan until fragrant.
- Grind the toasted seeds into a fine powder.
- Mix glutinous rice flour with 1 cup of water to form a slurry.
- In a saucepan, combine the remaining water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Add the rice flour slurry and ground sesame paste. Stir until thickened.
- Serve warm or chilled, garnished as desired.
